I can barely read it and it is about to give me a seizure - how can this problem be fixed?? This monitor is about 3 years old and has been heavily used.

UPDATE:: I have finally figured out the problem. Thanks to both of you for your answers - they were very useful. I am actually having a very different problem now with a different monitor now maybe you could help me with - email/message for details.

I fixed the montior by reducing refresh rate to 60 - the only setting that seems to work. Thanks!

Whats the Display Resolution and refresh rate you are using.

If some one has changed the Resolution or Refresh Rate then your monitor would show such signs.

Right click on the Desktop Select Properties and Lower the resoultion by sliding the dar to 800X600.

Click the Advanced button and change the refresh rate to 70 or 75.

If you are still stuck please get back to me.

That's kind of young for a monitor to go. That brand has some really good warranties, so give them a call. Mine was for 3 years, and it was just under 3 years when it died, so it was a free fix. But it sure sounds like its on it way to the trashcan. If it is under warranty, be sure to package it very well before sending it in. FedEx ground is pretty cheap and fast. .
