Check this out, it helped me a lot.
I was having a lot of pain in my lower back after sitting to long or just getting out of my Mustang. I heard about an Inversion Bench at the local sporting goods that would let you hang upside down. So I went there and tried it for about 30 secs and NO MORE BACK PAIN SINCE NOVEMBER OF 2006. I now have one but never need it for that anymore. I am a big believer in chiropratic too, but this is cheeper.

The more time you spend sitting the more the hip flexor muscles will tighten due to poor positioning. What's worse is most of us spend a lot of time sitting. Whether it's while driving, while at work, at home watching television, or at home on the computer. So if you happen to do a lot of sitting, try to cut down on it a bit. It may help you.
Good luck to you!

Have a doctor check it. It could be helped by something as simple as a Pilates class.
