Probably nothing much except you will need a really large tank to house that much fish! Both are relatively peaceful species and shouldn't bother each other too much.

How BIG is the pacu, and how big is the tank? Pacus grow very large very quickly and if they have enough room might not bother the sharks. The pacu may eventually bully the sharks or take all the food. Some pacus are not as wild as others.
My pacu was 2 inches 16 months ago,and now it's 14 inches long and fat and big.He leaves the other aggressive fish alone, but killed my other pacu, same size when they were about 5 inches long.

Depending on their sizes, your pacu might end up eating those balas. However, if they live long enough, the balas are more likely to duke it out amongst themselves; they are very territorial and aggressive toward their own species.

All three of those fish get very large by the way. I hope you have a big tank...

Like other have said it does depend on the size of the Pacu's and the sharks. Also the size of your tank.

Pacu's may not be mean, but they will eat what fits in their mouth. They are similar to an Oscar.

Please research fish before you buy them and add them to avoid unnecessary problems.
