Scrapbooking is fun and a great way to preserve memories. When i do scrapbooking i like to go to places like Ben Franklins (arts and crafts store) they have alot of good stuff to use. Also in Walmart they will most likely have some scrapbooking items.

Reading would be a good fundamental activity. You could relax at the pool or the beach and read a book.

A few of my favorite hobbies are :
1.Hunting
2.Fishing
3.Archery
And even if you don't like hunting to kill animals, you can use game calls to call them in close.I have been calling in whitetail deer and elk for several years now and there's nothing i enjoy more! I just love to call them in within ten yards of me!!! It's such a thrill!!! =D

Okay, try hula-hopping when ever you get stuck in a line (market, bank, etc). I'm pretty sure someone will want to be your friend and always carry an extra hoop so they can join you.

volunteer at a homeless shelter...any other volunteers you meet will be sure to be good people, and you'll get up close and personal with a lot of street people and learn a thing or two about life....
