For my freshman english 2 class, you have to write a paper on carl jung's archetypes. We only really need to choose one and give examples from a couple of works. I was wondering if anyone knew much about the archetypes? I've been trying to research it online, but I'm not getting too much information. And any suggestions for which archetype I should use and an argument I can write?

I like to use the archetype upon which we have built our lives and society. This is a sort of genetic formation that can go back to the origin and development of our DNA. What we get is a perception related to antique behavior and is carried or passed on to future generations. An example is our home which is a sort of archetype that we live in. The conception or consciousness within which we exist is the housing where our attention resides. I don't know if that helps. Good luck.
