I'll put it to you this way. First, some strippers aren't treated with respect by their clientele. Especially after a few drinks. Second, there's a lot of competition. Having been at a strip bar, I know this to be true. Third, there is the previously mentioned loss of dignity. And lastly, if the bouncers can't save you from an aggressive assailant, and there are quite a few, you're toast. Especially if the club allows touching. But it's really up to you.

Depends on where you work, and how much you get tipped.

My friend makes about $300 bucks for an hour, at private parties. This is basicly a room full of around ten fat and ugly guys that could never get a girl and you have to rub your boobs in there face and pretend like you like them, even when they are jerks. That's how you make more tips.

It's very degrading and hard to stop once you start because it becomes your income and a job. It should be your last resort, the money is fast and it comes with a lot of illegal activity. They will always want to get you drunk, make you take drugs, and offer you more money for sex. You have to be very careful not to put yourself in a bad situation.

You'll hear all kinds of stories about girls who say they can bank $500+ a night. Honestly, that's pretty rare...and they're usually offering "additional" services. The money in that industry varies from day to day...one night my neighbor would come home with $300, the next day she made $25. Most of them wind up with drug or alcohol problems, since they feel the need to get "lubricated" before they go on stage. Feature dancers can earn $5-10k per week, but not usually without getting involved in the porn industry. New girls make their best money for the first 2 years...they're not so jaded at that point, and they haven't been weathered so much. "Career" strippers have a tendency to get pretty bad attitudes, and it reflects in their earnings.

It's an industry that wears people out, literally. Few people (if any) are ever proud of it, and nobody walks out of that job the same person they were going in.

Since noone wants to answer your question i will. Depending on the type of establishment you plan to work in (classy Gentlemen's lingere type club vs. grungy dangerous brothel) as well as the shifts you get (day time vs. night) AND the nights you work (monday vs. saturday night) it can truly vary quite a bit. However to give you an average for you working in a midscale club, with a variety of shifts and days you should expect to see anywhere from $1,000-$5,000 per week. With a true average of abe $1,500-$2,000 per week (around 3-4 nights). Keep in mind though this is not a long term solution, if you go this route SAVE SAVE SAVE your money and try to get an education while you can, eventually your body won't be so toned, and you'll get old.

The handful of people Ive known in the industry make "good" money - 300 - 500 for 3-4 hrs. work. However, the environment is full of bad influences. From drugs, to prostitution, not to mention the lost souls you'll encounter. Its a caustic environment, and for human emotional damage; money cant pay that bill!

i use to waitress at a strip club and make about two hundred bucks a night the stripers made about three hundred but it really depends. If your not going to do it in a major city forget it. It wouldn't be worth it even if it is classy, in a small town you wont make enough for the crap you'll put up with. PS be careful i met allot of people that got sucked into another life they never wanted, as the saying goes make the money don't let it make you.

What has happened to self respect? Get a higher education so you can get a respectful well paying job. You will not have anyone in your family proud to know that you are stripping. No decent guy will want to go with you, and all the guys who go to those places usually are drunks.
