His lack of DC connections may very well be his asset.
His lack of experience may be too much of a liability.
One other president came in with less experience--his name was Abraham Lincoln.,the rest is history

I have to tell you, less is more when you live and work in the world's filthiest cesspool. Believe me Washington D.C. makes most toilet bowls seem like a hospital operating table. The fact that Obama hasn't been there long is his biggist plus.
I like Obama, and I think he would make a fine Vice-Presidential running mate for Hillary. In truth, only Obama & Condy would be better for the people of this country. But then reality invades, and we have to deal it the truth.
I wish the world was a just place, unfortuantely it is what it is. Hillary is a long shot, and she's the only realistic chance of a woman winning the U.S. Presidency in history, (with the possible exception of Condy). A person of color is an even longer shot.
Blacks make up about 12% of this country's population, and it's a safe bet Obama would do well in that ethnic group. Even if he got all the non-white vote in the country, there are enough bigoted morons registered to vote to out number the intelligent people in the U.S. at least 2 to 1. I mean don't get me wrong, Obama has a better chance than you or I, but realistically it's more than a long shot. I don't like to be the one to say this, but Obama is unlikely to even get the Democratic party nomination. The good old boy club is mostly white, and those guys tend to be exclusive to people of color.

His golden locks are starting to tarnish. He voted against making English the official language of the United States. He voted against a border fence. He voted for amnesty for illegals. He voted for an increase in the minimum wage, which will only raise the cost of everything else, as it has always done before. No one can support a family on minimum wage. They need training and better jobs. I wonder how much loyalty he has to legal Americans? He hasn't signed on to release the border guards who are in jail because they were framed by Texas and the white house.

Possibly. I've wondered something similar. I like the guy and can see a case for his candidacy, but I'm waiting to learn a lot more.
