Run up stairs and hills, this will strengthen the backs of your legs, the Achilles tendon. Stand on a box the same height as your vertical jump, step off it and as soon as you land jump up again, this will help increase the fast twitch fibers in your muscles therefore increasing your jump. dont workout every day, take days off when you feel your muscles aching, listen to your body. Search kadour ziani, hes doesnt use weights yet he has one of the highest vertical jumps in the world. anything is possible, dont give up.

It's pretty much impossible to increase your vertical jump without some anaerobic weight training. Squats, lunges, calf raises, hip flexors, etc . . . are all key to getting your vertical jump up. It'll take some time but it's better to get something accomplished for the next 6 or so months than nothing.

One technique that I heard works but never tried it is using those special shoes that have the big padding near the front of the feet. Supposedly it will give your calf muscles a super workout.

Another technique I heard of is wearing sandbags around your wastes when you workout or play ball.

Exercise by running regularly in the sand.

You can also put some small training weights in your feet and run with them.

Stretching is always important.
