I can type faster without music. I feel like the music slows me down because I'm caught up in the song or its hard to concentrate on what I'm typing.

I type faster WITHOUT music because if I am typing with the music on I do tend to type to the rhythm and when the music stops or slows so do I.

I don't think it really changes my typing speed much, but I like to have my music going at all times. Some people tease me and say that I can't breathe without my music. The sad thing is that they are probably right...

I type fast w/ or w/ out music. It doesn't affect how fast I type.
