Thanks for your responses but I'm pretty sure it's not "Uninvited."
This song sounded so bad, that I thought it was a bad Christian radio station artist ripping off her style badly, but then I remember the radio announcer at the end said it was her.

"Uninvited" from the movie, "City of Angels" soundtrack....one of my favorite songs by Alanis. It has a very haunting melody to it...great song!

aw yes the beautiful once scorned woman turned overnight star with her song about her bitter scorned pain, You Oughta Know. I mean I know she was already signed had 2 prior released records but it was that song that changed her career for the much better. hmmm... should I go with pre or post scorned Alanis. you know? I really like one of her latest songs "Not as We." it's a very beautiful song. happy 37th Alanis Morissette. as far as the scorned female musician thing or similar at the least I really prefer the debut album Tidal from Fiona Apple.

It could be "Forgiven" that you are talking about. It is the only song of hers that I can think of that could be confused with one from a Christian station.
