i heard different tests take different amounts of time

It has sometimes taken me about 4 weeks to get the results of my pap smear back. Then when I was waiting to find out about the results with one of my last paps I ended up getting the results sooner than the 4 weeks. I got them back in a week I think. My dr uses a method called Thinprep that is supposed to be very good at finding the abnormalities if any.

My Gyn has patients call a recording about 4 weeks later to get their results.
If it's abnormal the results may come sooner.

i've got my results after one week. but i may take 2 weeks. your gyne should tell you when you will get the results.

usually anywhere from a week up to 2 weeks
