I've been using birthcontrol to regulate my period, (because i'm irregualr and it didn't come in a while) am i supposed to take it even when i get my period

There are certain pills in your birthcontrol pack that are inert...meaning they don't do anything while you are on your period, there aren't any hormones in those so that your period is allowed to happen and then you start all over with a new pack.

You take the rest of the inactive pills until they're gone then move to the next pack. (Take all pills in the pack.)

the pack of pills is for a full month. the last week are pills with nothing in them but just take them anyway. go to thepill.com

Take all the pills, You should get your period during the week you take the inactive pills.
