How do I fall asleep?? I need sleeping methods!! I no this is in the wrong catagory!!

to have a good night's sleep,you got to work hard throughout the day. so in the night you are really tired and then you doze off. be active in the day. then have a good dinner. and don't think of any issues you have (if any) at night time. keep your mind calm . then catch up on some television or chat up with some friends.have sum milk and Oreo.lastly have a nice warm shower .

Make sure you have all light blocked out. I use ear plugs, the yellow squishy kind you get at the hardware store. Make sure the temperature in the room is perfect. Brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, have socks on.

Relax your body, pretend like you can't move a muscle, and tell yourself that even if you just rest your body, that's good enough. Soon, you will drift off.

try having a nightly routine before you sleep
that way, after a while, your body knows that you're about to go to sleep whenever you do that nightly routine.
like brushing your teeth, doing pilates/yoga (i did this before.. it's absolutely great.. you feel relaxed and all stretched out and tired, so you fall asleep more easily)
also, try watching tv or reading a book
it doesn't help much to just stare at the ceiling, so try doing something else instead.
that way, your body will also eventually tire out

i could with no meds) (Ive decreased my dependency praying that i can get off for good) stay awake for up ti two days some times can go two -3 weeks on 3 -4 hrs of sleep a night it took getting a new Dr to get the right prescription the meds i got now finally work don't give up Dr's usually think its stress or something mines runs in the family don't give up some one will diagnose you keep trying prescriptions till you get one that works mine is noise related email me if need more details "----------------' buy

drink a cup of hot milk before going to sleep. do not take any tensions while going to sleep . try to finish your work before going to sleep. best of luck

k, this is a sure method to falling asleep.

first, cover yourself with blankets and GET COMFORTABLE!

next, think.

after that, think some more.

by this time you'll be thirsty, so get your drink, pee, and come back and get comfy again.

now, think about your WILDEST fantasy. if you finish thinking about it, it wasn't wild enough. rethink a new one or add on. keep thinking, get excited, fall asleep~
