I really want to slap them in the face and open their eyes to the ideas and things they are missing and avoiding because its against their religion! Everyone should be open minded, the world would be a much better place if that were to be so.

For the same reason YOU are so shut in about Christians and other such religious folk. You see a handful of these "blind" Christians, as you would put them, and you generalize and condemn the entire creed because of those few.
You really need to open your own eyes if you wish to see how open ours are.

Its NOT ABOUT being "open minded." Its about protecting "the Truth." When you discover the Truth, you know that no amount of attack can ever stop you from believing it, AND YOUR RIGHT. You literally cannot be deprogrammed. So, by "just not listening to others attack it," you save time and frustration. Its not that you wouldn't listen, you would. But it still wouldn't change your mind, and you'd waste all that time! So, basically YOU CAN'T BE OPEN-MINDED because nothing can change your mind. In some ways, not even yourself.

What you need to do is slap yourself to wake up and know what Christianity is all about.Educate yourself.If everybody was Christian,there wouldn't be devil people like you in this world.What is it that you want us to be open minded for?Drugs?other inhuman,dirty,despicable stuff?Do to our religion,do to our belief,we are descent ,hard working ,wonderful people that you can never be.
