Does it use just black OR color. Or does it use color and black Cartridges together?

should be 2. The "c" after the number means color. Did you look inside of it?

As far as I know, any of the HP printers that have a model number ending in "c" or "psc" are color, and use one black cartridge and one color cartridge.

Just one, the 51629 is your black, you have the option of a colour 51649, however they can only be installed one at a time.

Both, they are seperate cartridges.
