This isn't likely to be a pop-up blocker issure.

You don't say if you are trying to listen in Messenger, YMJ, or the browser window, so this answer might not address your problem.

If you are getting the "Tuning..." message forever in your browser player, you need to change an IE setting. Go to Tools/Internet Options/General tab/Temporary Internet Files section/Settings button. When you get there, in the "Check for newer versions of pages" section, select the "Automatically" setting (instead of "Every visit to page"). Save that setting and then try your Launchcast player again. It should work. (PS- This answer applies to IE 6. I don't know if it is applicable to IE 7.)

Also, check your firewall to make sure it is not blocking the communication the player needs.
