Most Conservatives that I have met in the past 20 years are in more dire need of a BJ than any men in History. The women look like they were born with a broomstick up their bum and the whole thing is that they are all anal retentive closet Queens as well. Many are homophobic, as well as most politicians in general are insane with aggression and power. Very disheartening to say all these things about the people we trust our lives with eh?
People laugh at the Queen of England, well folks she is the example that those conservatives have had to follow along with a Sexually Frustrated Freak like Nixon! Or the over sexed texan LBJ? Talk about JFK? ha ha LBJ had so many women he was way worse than Clinton ever! Politicians are liars and thieves! Maybe you feel important talking your nonsense on this site, but this is serious, our government is falling apart and you are part of the reason, you know nothing you have never been in Politics in any serious way (in answer to your question? yes I have 15years ) You embarass us as Americans you talk the game but don't walk it and when push comes to shove you blame someone else! Stop it and do something constructive form a group in your community to help the homeless, or help the medical association for the elderly and those with serious handicaps? Go to a Blind school and learn to help them? We will need all the civilians that have half a brain to help our people here at home, or are you in favor of the Gas Chambers? Think about how much time you waste serving yourself and producing nothing for others? What good are you in our government? Ask yourself that? Shame on you for not helping someone!

I tip my hat to Joe Smow. You answer is well thought out, articulate, and to the point. It seems many on both sides are more interested in childish name calling instead of sucking it up and facing the problems that the nation is going through.

As long as people continue to buy into this "they" and "we" mentality, problems will not get solved, we will remain a threatened nation, and the majority of voters will continue to be turned off to the whole process.

Maybe you should stop being a sap and go hug a tree. Go out on a limb and treat all people with respect. That would be the intelligent thing to do. Don't bark up the wrong tree. Make a trunk call to someone in England who can set you straight. How conservative are you? Do you belong to the John Birch Society and generally make an ash of yourself? You need to fir ther your goals and not pine away for what you cannot have. You need to leave the political questions to people whose moss is growing on the left side of the tree.

"If they were to learn that their own designs are guided by spurious theories and would not bring about the beneficial results expected, they would change their programs."
-- Ludwig von Mises

In other words, you are quite right--although, I am afraid there are a great many liberals who cannot be excused due to lack of intelligence. They are, rather, blinded by the combination of an excessively positive view of mankind--a failure to appreciate man's inherently imperfectible nature--with an excessively negative view of most actual men. So they are prone to entrusting men with too much power, while despising almost all the men who actually wield power.

Neither side is smarter than the other. Both sides have very intelligent people.

I do think conservatives, on the whole, are more mean-spirited though, something I find very offensive because many of them claim to be Christians, but clearly do not act Christ-like.

First, I would like to say I am a Republican who is totally disgusted with the vast majority of users on this forum who call themselves Republicans.
Here are my observations and opinions about them;
1: They would rather put their own self interests in this president, ahead of the interests of this Nation.
2: They would rather clone, reticule, and demean those who would try to bring serious discussion to this forum, than debate them on their own merits.
3: They also seek to report in an attempt to undermine those stated in #2 in an effort to have those facts removed.
4: and final, history will remember those who stood by while this Nation was robbed, lied to, and stolen from and those that defended those very practices.
