Take it to a watch stand. Many will do it for free and if not it will be cheap. Try the Watch Station, a company of Sun Glass Hut.

It shouldn't be too expensive, I don't know the actual cost though. Some jewellery stores will actually show you how to adjust the size of a watch and you can do it yourself.

It depends on what kind of watch it is, if it has the right links to take some out you can. Go to your jewelry store, or even walmart and they can help you. But all in all, yes it can be done.
