NCFM certified person only should handle the terminals of NSE, which have spread all over India.It has been made mandatory.You can appear for 2 modules, whcih would be useful for a career in stock broking companies.
NCFM capital market dealers' module
NCFM derivatives dealers' module.
First one would be useful for cash segment and the second one for F&O segment.

NSE conducts examinations in 2 modules for NCFM - Capital Market (dealers) and Derivative Market ( dealers).
Capital market (dealers) deals with cash market in NSE whereas Derivatives deals with "Futures and Options".
A person who successfully clears the examinations will be authorised to operate the NSE cash and F&O terminals as operator. This is the most basic and important condition to be fullfilled, if you wish to get a job as an "terminal operator".
Additionally, you get to know many aspects of stock markets and operations, if you undergo these modules.
