I like all the additions the Indians made. Getting Barfield from the Padres was like robbery. Signing Trot Nixon, David Dellucci, Keith Foulke, Joe Borowski, Roberto Hernandez and Aaron Fultz will really help the Tribe.

Stripping Barfield from the Padres was an uncommonly great move I think! It is rare to pry a talented guy like that away from a team so early in his career... I didn't really get that from the Pad's point of view... they must love Kouzmanoff!
I am a Twins fan, so I hate to say it, but the Tribe did well this off season. Trot Nixon is nice, they ejected dead weight w/ Boone, and among Borowski, Foulke, and R. Hernandez, they have a good chance of at least one or two of those vets stepping up and being a potential closer on the cheap!
The Central should be a great 4 team race this year it will be fun to watch!
Oh yeah, I forgot about Delucci too, he's a nice role player

They did good. They didn't need much because they just drasticaly underacheived last season. They didn't lose any key players and got Foulke, Borowski, Fultz, and Hernandez to improve they're bullpen. They upgraded with Barfield and Nixon. Plus, they have a handful of prospects that could make the team. They are in pretty decent shape, it's just the matter of them executing. As far as I'm concerned it's a four-team race in the AL Central.

I think they did enough to warrant them being serious contenders for the Central Division.
It will be a 3 way race (not a four way as some have suggested) for the Central Division title...I see Cleveland, Detroit, and Minnesota all battling for that division.
And you're right, it will be fun to watch.

They signed three of the top 4 relivers. The signing of Delucci and Nixon strengthens an already strong outfield. However they did not acquire any right-handed power so I am a bit dissappointed. 4/5.

They failed to acquire that "big right-handed bat" to compliment Hafner. Instead they got a couple of aging lefties---Nixon and Delluchi. Instead of finding a great reliever, they signed 3 mediocre ones---Foulke, Borrowski and Hernandez.
All in all, NOT good.
