On the plus side for Spurs they have the better squad, which is young and largely English or at least British. Spurs buy British, and are in London. Also, their rivals are Arsnl, and I hate Arsnl already. Can't think of any real negatives for them, except that their squad won't be the same in a few years time.

For Newcastle, the positives are the supporters, the shirts, and the club's history. The negatives would be that they play all the way up north and that their rivals, Sunderland are shite.

If I were picking based on squad, it would be Spurs without question, but a few years down the road, it will be entirely different. The locations and the rivals will always be the same, and Newcastle will always have great supporters.

I prefer Newcastle. Not because I think they are the better team, which is an opinion anyway, but because I love the underdog, if you could call them that. And what I love is that since Newcastle is the biggest team in Newcastle, obviously, the fans have so much passion and carry so much support for their team. And I as well LOVE the home kits. I think they are really cool looking. Oh, and not to mention that my favorite player is at that club (Michael Owen). You are right when you say that Tottenham may have the better squad and better chances of winning, but I prefer Newcastle by a long shot.

I don't know why, but I have a soft spot for the Spurs.

Maybe its the fact that they hate Arsenal just as much as we do.

Plus, I can't wait til Lennon puts on the red shirt.
