On the plus side for Spurs they have the better squad, which is young and largely English or at least British. Spurs buy British, and are in London. Also, their rivals are Arsnl, and I hate Arsnl already. Can't think of any real negatives for them, except that their squad won't be the same in a few years time.
For Newcastle, the positives are the supporters, the shirts, and the club's history. The negatives would be that they play all the way up north and that their rivals, Sunderland are shite.
If I were picking based on squad, it would be Spurs without question, but a few years down the road, it will be entirely different. The locations and the rivals will always be the same, and Newcastle will always have great supporters.
