Republicans are more apt to support crime more that Democrats. Minority Democrats are more apt to feel targeted by drug and crime prevention though Democrats do support more prevention efforts like gun control than Republicans. Republicans do appear to get away with more crimes than Democrats do. This assumption is supported by the fact of looking at what Republicans tried to impeach Clinton with compared to all the fun stuff the current administration as been rumored to have pulled.
