Everyone thinks game designer is good, but supply and demand results in lower wages. OS programming is good paying, but you are not likely to get into this without a master or doctorate degree. There are many kinds of software developer jobs. Check various job websites for software jobs and see what is in demand now. I know there is a lot of demand of people that know Java and .net. Also computer security is big right now.

If you do not want to study math, any type of engineering degree is out of question for you. Most of them require Calc 1 though 3 and differential equations. You do not seem very keen on English either. You would perhaps benefit from speaking with your guidance counselor.

Be wary of TV advertisement for a degree in game programming. There is not that much demand for such person, and being a rather popular field for young folks, salaries are low even if you can get in.

An OS programmer is even less in demand. How many OS do you believe there are in the market place and needing active development? (and needing new people) These companies hire experienced programmers.

Computer engineering is a good field, provided you are willing to put in your effort and excel at it. Math is important, and an ability to think through complex problems are even more important.
