You learned a very difficult lesson. You crashed and burned.
If you can locate the former company, you might take up hunting. Otherwise you can not do anything about it if they scammed you. Likely of any trace of them, they are totally gone. Get the cops to investigate and catch them so some other sucker won't get burnt. If you get a lawyer, you will spend more money.

well.. did u buy the stock from the stock market? or did you give your money to some stranger pretending to be someone from a company?
if they went bankrupt, your outta luck! you just became a general creditor of the company since the common stock holder is the last to get paid after paying all the creditors and bond holders.
if you think you got scammed, go to SEC.GOV...
