try sleeping in a different area of your home and get her to the DR.

I am sorry, but when I read this, I just had to giggle at this question. Guess I never heard of a woman snoring like a horse, or never heard a horse snore before. No offense here.
I read that people who have a snoring problem can lead to something serious. You may want to do a research on that or you can see if maybe she can see a doctor that can help her or what causes her loud snoring. Have her try sleeping on her side, sometimes that helps, if you haven't done so already.
No, just because your wife snores doesn't mean you have to divorce her, that's not why you married her. No, do what it takes to get some help for her. Do get advice from a doctor.

"Snores like a horse"? LMAO...too funny! Sorry, just never heard that before.
Your wife needs to have a diagnostic sleep study done. It sounds like she has obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The simplest and most prescribed treatment is a CPAP machine (continuous positive airway pressure). There is a small breathing mask that is worn during sleep. It delivers forced air that will keep her airway open and stop the snoring.
If she does have OSA she must be having an awful time during the day since she isn't getting recooperative sleep. Be supportive and for goodness sake stop thinking about divorce!

No witchcraft or hokus pokus or drugstore remades will fix this problem. You and your wife should make an appointment to see a Pulmonary Dr. When things get out of hand and she doesn't know she snores she may be endangering her own health. A pulmonary specialist may order a sleep study in a hospital to closely monitor her breathing pattern as she sleeps. While under his care there are tools and devices that will help her like night and day. There are ear eye nose and throat specialists that may be able to help also. My personal advice is to head for the pulmonary guy first. His treatment is less invasive.

I'm a snoring wife altho my husband is worse. Even the dogs snore. So as much as I hate to do it we sleep in seperate rooms and I actually have my own room now. We've been married for 35 rough yrs but wouldn't divorce for this reason, I hope you won't either.

Only if you're a a precious idiot - I snore like a trooper and my wife puts ear plugs in - not any type mind - like those they give away on airliners - but the type you get from a chemist for use when you go swimming - that blots out my snoring completely - go to the chemist and get some - divorce indeed !

Take her to the doctor. Snoring is usually due to a medical problem that is easily fixed.
If it turns out it's not a medical problem, get separate bedrooms.
I have been married 11 years and my husband snores like a chain saw. We sleep in separate bedrooms.
Divorcing over snoring is stupid.

My husband snores too but I just deal because I love him! He's going to get a physical soon to see if the Dr. can help us -but I go to bed and cuddle with him and if he wakes me up I just head to the couch. Sure it pisses me off sometimes but he's a great man and husband- Why on earth would I give that up for something completely out of his control!I wouldn't want him to feel that way about me and I doubt you'd want your wife to either if the tables were turned. I'm sure your just feeling grouchy right now and not thinking clear... Don't you think your body acts in ways that may bother her think about it... If you love your wife outside of this issue its ridiculous to throw it away over some snores! Goodnight cranky pants -(jk) I'm sure everything will seem better in the morning!

Horses don't snore. You could have said "my wife pees like a race horse" and that would have worked, but "snores like a horse" just doesn't cut it. You are a slacker, anyway, to consider divorce over snoring. Take your wife to a sleep disorder clinic. Sounds like she has sleep apnea. But I am sure they could help. Most hospitals have a sleep disorder clinic now, or they could refer you. Insurance covers it.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!
1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.
2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.
The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.
After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net
Ohhh..and Good Luck!

Over snoring? I hope you are as your name says and are just kidding ... that is rediculous ... If people got divorced because of snoring my parents might not be together today with how my dad snores.
