I love music and I love award shows. There were some very entertaining performances and moments... but c'mon - the Dixie Chicks? Al Gore? Doesn't anybody remember the 80s when Al's wife Tipper started the PMRC to put parental advisory stickers on CDs?

Yes I agree, it looks like it isn't about the music anymore just politics.

I know what you mean, but this is the first time I didn't turn it off before it was over. I think the Dixie Chicks are awesome, but they obviously got a few extra votes due to there "situation." Almost every single performance was awesome, especially the two threesomes of Mayer, Legend, and Rae, and Smokey, Richie, and Brown. The Chili Peppers stunk up the place, reminiscient of the only time I've seen them in concert.

This stupid Dixie Chicks thing is getting to me now. Not because they won, because everyone is making a big deal about it. To the haters, the less you make a big deal about it, the quicker it goes away! To the Dixie fans, I guess you can enjoy your big moment. I personally didn't think they deserved it, but that's not politically motivated, that's just my musical opinion.

Well i don't know really what you are asking but my husband must be agreeing with you hahah He was saying something about the DIXIE CHICKS winning so many awards and i thought they did too because i really don't care for them or there singing but that's just my opinion
