There's a principal in our town that is absolutely horrible. Many students, parents and teachers have had problems with her and we want to get her out. The DOE (Department of Education) is too cowardly to get rid of her and she's very slimy. It seems that our complaints go nowhere and she continues to ruin the lives of kids in the community. What's the best way to put pressure on her so that she'll be held accountable for what she has done?

Document everything even if you think it is petty depending on the circumstances. Someone has to stand up for the children and if you feel she is a bully or hurting the children in any way you need to be their voice. If you feel so strongly about it attend school with you child attend the PTA meetings talk with other parents form a United Front. Take action rather than sitting back and complaining.

Principals are essentially politicians. Community reputation is what affects them. If you have legitimate complaints that can be made public, and other similar complaints are aired frequently, there will be political pressure put on the Principal to change her behavior or leave. It will not be a quick process. You will need the help and support of others willing to be subjected to scrutiny for coming forward. Persistence will pay off.

Or, if you're on the "wrong side" of this argument, in the community's eyes, you will look like a whining brat.

Good luck. We had a principal at my old school that was so terrible the parents were protesting in fron of the school. We had teachers throwing up in the bathrooms and being placed on anti-depressants. We tried to talk to our superintendent and the school board. Nobody cared. Nobody did anything. Almost the entire staff ended up transferring out of the school. It was the worst experience of my career.

why dont you circulate and dirt of that video digital camera and positioned it to solid use. I mean seize her interior the act of doing something relatively rediculous then turn the tape over to the right government. Voice recorders are usefull for that too. gotta be relatively sneaky approximately that tho. consistent with possibility get some associates and plan something out, something you already know she'd do from adventure. ORRRRR theres continually the petition... get anybody and their mom to sign a paper saying they pick her replaced with somebody extra effective suitable for the activity. selection one may well be a splash extra relaxing tho :-)

The parents need to bring a public complaint to the school board. Get it on the 5 o'clock news.
