Yeah you can use it to clean your keyboard. You can get them at any drug store. They are pretty much cotton on a stick. They will be in a blue box and by the baby items. They are small enough to fit inbetween the keys on the keyboard to clean them well.
PS. Please dont use them to clean your ears. You can clean the outsides of your ear but don't stick them in your ears.....this causing you to push much of the wax back in there and many people damage their ear drums with this.

A Q Tip is a brand of cotton swabs, you clean your ear with them.
