I have a Babolat Pure Power Zylon 360, it weighs 280grams(unstrung), string tension 50-57lbs(what it reads on the racket), head size is 102sq. in. and it's 2points head light. I keep hitting the ball deep and have to use a compact swing to keep the ball in, I can't afford a new racket right now, so how can I use lead tape to get more control from this racket? What should I do to this racket? Also, any rackets you would recommend for the future will help, thanks.

Apply tape to the top and sides of the head to help reduce the racquet speed through your stroke.

Depending on how much tape you use on the head, the overall racquet balance point might shift too drastically. In that situation, you either need to remove some of the tape or apply some tape to the throat region.

Put a strip of lead tape on both sides of the frame and/or on the top and bottom of the frame. Make sure you put an equal amount of tape on each side of the racket. Also, be sure to put the same amount of tape that you put on the head of the racket on the throat area of the racket so that the balance will stay the same. Keep adding more tape untill you've found the weight you like. More weight equals more control. Don't worry about putting too much tape on, as you can remove it just as easily as you put it on.

That is a nice racket, but im sorry I have no idea how to help you here. All I can recommend is the Wilson TRIAD rackets. I dont know what level you play at but that rakcet give me the perfect combination of control and power. I play on the Div 2, High School Varsity level btw. Hope that helps in the future. Keep those balls in the green!
