Are there any that you don't have to know where your 'partner' is? I haven't heard from him in more then a yr & his number has been disconnected. I don't have money to locate him. I got married 11 yrs ago, he left a month later. But he come to visit his kids a few times. I tried getting divorce about 9 yrs ago & got pregnant, I was told that I couldn't get divorce when pregnant so I lost all my money for 2 reasons, 1- it kept taking so long to always try & find him cuz he kept moving about, 2- cuz of having to wait til the baby was born. The court dropped my divorce cuz the people I went thro didn't fill out the papers explaining why everything took long.

He don't want anything to do with the kids. The last time he seen them was 6 yrs ago I don't want anything from him, no alimoney no child support. I am on SSI so that I won't go for alimoney & if welfare wants me to get child support they can have me fill out papers after I am divorced.

I am not going to wait for my youngest to turn 21, she is only 8 1\2 yrs old now. That would mean I must waste all my life being married to someone that I don't want to be married to. I am in love with someone else & want to marry him.

I know that there are online divorce kits just look it up. Since I can't afford a lawyer I need to be able to do a do-it-yourself divorce.

go to the court house file a petion for divorce. Put an ad in the paper. With his name and why to contact you. That is all you have to do. Ask at the court house what size the ad has to be. They will grant the divorce without him there because you have advertised it. After 6 years of no contact that is desertion.

I did that for 23 years. It kept me from getting re married. My X and I have alway's been friends and it didnt bother either of us.

NOW YOUR Q:
Most liabrary's have all the paperwork you need. Some charge you per page. you'll get it for a couple bucks or even 10 , give or take.
IF you have children they usually won't mess with it. The more legal ties you have the more complecated it is. They'll make you get a lawyer.
My past exsperiences say you'll be waisting your time.
My X and I waited til our son was 21 then had it done under 20.00 total.
We had no legal ties to each other.
The more ties you have the more a lawyer will charge. NOW he is responsible for the baby you had even if it's not his. PLUS this will REALLY complicate things.

It sounds funny that one gets pregnant while contemplating divorce with her partner. Probably ur physical needs are so strong.

If you don't know where he is, and aren't willing to pay someone to find him, you need a lawyer to "publish" your intention to divirce, at least in this state (PA)
