I have been waking up with my baby for the last month and the father says he sleeps too heavily to wake up and feed the baby. How can I get him to help me? I need a full night's sleep, just once or twice a week.

Talk to him about it and agree on 2 nights a week for him get up with the baby. My hubby would not hear the baby at night either.. unless it was HIS night to get up with her. Things sure went a lot smoother after he started helping me. He still didn't hear her on the nights he wasn't supposed to get up, but when he KNEW it was HIS turn.. he would finally hear the baby. Good luck.. hope it works for you!

I have a 3 month old baby. And my husband gets up and makes all the bottles at night, Then I feed the baby. He gets the diapers, and I change him. Then on Saturday and Sunday. He gets up with the baby in the morning so I get some extra sleep. If I was you I would wake him up to get those bottles at night. And you should talk to him and tell him you need some sleep to. Good Luck

So wake him up! He helped make the baby, he's got to take some of the responsibility.

Discuss with him your needs for a full night's sleep and see what the two of you can compromise. Even if it's only 2 nights a week, see if you can schedule days that are 'daddy days'--where he takes over night duty.

She would desire to nonetheless choose feeding at evening yet purely once or twice, under no circumstances each and every 2 hours. the infant likes the closeness of you and wakes up greater for the convenience, no longer for starvation. For all nursing's upsides, that's probably the downsides!

If your man is working and your not then I think It's fair that you let him sleep in if he has to get up early and go to work, but if your also working then It's only fair that he shares the night time duties with you. why not put the baby moniter (I think that's what its called) you know the one where the baby cries and you can hear it in your room, well put that near his night stand and turn it up so that he can hear it. or otherwise when you hear the baby cry nudge him and tell him to get up and it's feeding time.

Talk to your husband.

The best thing for me is that my son cries very loudly and both of us would get up. I would make the milk and feed him. My husband would change the diaper. It will be faster and will put my son quickly to sleep after that.

Unless I tell my husband / my husband tell me that he tired, then the other party will have to do everything.

You have to discuss with your husband to share the responsibilties.

It's possible.

ha they all say that so suck it up take pride in the fact that you are the one taking full care of your child and let it go he has no intentions on waking up in the middle of the night for feedings..in my case i dont even bother my man cause i know that even if he got up id still wake up anyway its that motherly instinct
