If you are a Christian the bible says wifes submit to your husbands AS TO THE LORD. Husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. To make her holy, Ephesians 5:22 Notice that the first four vs are the commands for the women and the next 14 are for the men. This is because most of the responsibility is on the men like it or not its gods word. Men step up and love well.. Its obvious that it hard for a woman to submit herself to her husband but its her responsibility to submit to god first and obey him. The book love and respect is a good book for you to read in this matter

A Christian (or any for that matter) husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the church. The wife is to respect her husband. The husband is the head, the wife the neck. It is a partnership. Major decisions-they should talk over, he is then responsible (yes, even before God) on the decision made. Like, getting a new roof on the house, talk it over, the man decides after listening to his wife and her thoughts on the matter, makes the decision yes, no and who to hire for the job. If the wife disagrees with her husband on a major decision (like buying a new car when they have a good enough one already), she can voice her opinion (with respect), and she can pray and leave her husband and the decision in God's hands. Then, if the husband makes a mistake, it's between him and God. Although it would be good to let the wife know when he realizes it. The husband is to love, protect, defend his wife. Be the provider-the bread winner. The couple should be friends-thru thick and thin. The wife, should be a homemaker-keep the house clean (not perfect, but clean and livable), cook good meals, prepare a good lunch for her husband to take to work, etc. Keep the laundry done, etc. If she works outside the home as well, they should both work on household chores. It's only fair. If there are children, it is best for the wife/mother to stay at home. It's cheaper too-no daycare costs, etc. They should spend time reading the Bible together, and praying together. Like at the start of the day, or the end of the day. There are lots of good Christian books to read on this subject. Try Stormie O Martin, Gary Smalley, Kevin Lehman are some authors to look into on this topic. Gary Smalley I like, he is good-with a touch of humor. Also, there is a small book out called "For Women Only" (There is also one I think called "For Men Only". The husband is to encourage the wife to grow in her own walk with God, and she with him. And together as a couple. As a side note, any abuse-especially physical-not allowed. I hope this helps. Take care.

The Christian religion does not place any specific responsibilities on a husband or a wife.

The husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. The husband is to cherish her and care for her and love and reat her as he would his own body. The wife is to respect and love her husband and admire and admonish him. A marriage is to have God in the center of it and He is to be the head of the man. The husband is to be the provider and care for and cherish and take care of his wife. The wife is to be the home maker and to be a virtuous woman like in Proverbs 31. If we as husbands and wives would do and act in out marriages what God says to do we would have great and happy and loving marriages that would last forever!

i do not know about the law of Christian husband,or wife. I'm a catholic person and my husband is protestant, I gave the right of being catholic because I love him and it doesn't really matter what type of religion you are as long as you know your faith. Don't let this ruin what you and your husband have, as long as he didn't commit adultery that will guide you on a right path. Good luck to you!!

A husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church.
How much did Christ love the church?
He stretched out both of his arms and was nailed to the cross.
Sacrifice! Works both ways. Unconditional love.

According to God? Ask him, and if you hear him answer, check into a nice mental institution.
