They dont have to no.. as a matter of fact the funny thing is growing up photos didnt do it for me or movies either ..it was either the real thing or noting.. its ok though its not like they are cheating or nothing but the quickest way to get a guy to stop s get a bunch of naked guy magazines and compete to see who can look at the most porn..dont tell him what you are doing and he will become bored with it very fast .. i assure you if you show and interest it will wane his,but why dont you do this pick a few evening and sit down and watch some porn with him and pick some variety of movies together and well its a good fire starter for both and you may come to find out that its not that bad actually kind of fun..not something to do every time but every once in awhile.. i promise if you show interest or even a little too much interest his will wane and vanish.. its just a guy thing i suppose and actually its harmless..I really dont see what they get out of it and im a guy and very heterosexual but just doesnt do it for me..

If he's not getting it from his spouse, he's eventually going to if he has a pc. That's the straight answer. All that means is that if you go than a week without sex, he's going to eventually succumb to the temptation, unless he draws some inspirational strength to wait another week. Sorry, my pregnant wife is visiting family for three weeks and I've done it. So I say yeah, but I really hope we're never separate for too long, I'd prefer just keep it kosi with my wife as I believe a family man should. don't let loneliness into the relationship. focus on the positive things and loving and satisfying eachother. I'm picking her up tomorrow night after 3 weeks. I don't think it good to do it habitually though.

I don't know if they "have" to, but most like to. I suppose it's a lot better that they watch it than going out and cheating. Men are much more visual than women, and porn turns them on. However, some men do have a problem with watching too much porn, and if you're guy can't stop or it's interfering with his daily life, he needs help. If not, let him enjoy it once in a while. You could even watch it with him and see what that leads to!

I believe that all men want to see other people having sex or looking at porn no matter what age. Its the excitement of seeing or watching someone else.

It is a proven medical fact of life that guy's brains are wired differently than women; especially in the area of sex.

I heard it described this way once, "if you imagine the connections in a woman's brain relating to sex as running like a road between the imagination center and the arousal center of the brain, then in a man's brain it would be more like an 8 lane superhighway..."

That said, If your man is obsessed or addicted to porn ask him to attend a Sexaholics Anonymous meeting. There he will get some perspective and begin learning about the true dark side of his addiction.

Erotic material is simply a safe, additional form of sexual arousal, enjoyed by both men AND women; it could be in the form of literature, audio or visual.

As long as both people in the relationship are getting all the pleasure and satisfaction they desire from one another and not being short-changed, there is no reason at all to be concerned or threatened about the other person enjoying a little extra stimulation, unless you have some sort of self-image issues, like ALL sexual pleasure in the relationship must come from you and you alone...

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Are you upset because your husband watches porn? If that's his only fault, doesn't sound too bad. Does he drink, do drugs, beat you or the kids, chase women, gamble? If you consider this a serious problem, then you might consider seeking therapy. Perhaps the two of you should go to therapy, you to determine if it is a serious problem, him to learn that it bothers you. Does he understand this is something that bothers you? Is this something the two of you can talk about? Try communicating with him, might work.

Technically, no one ever "has" to watch porn, ever. But the fact is, some guys will watch porn even if they are married with children.

Despite what some men here have said, not ALL men watch porn. Some men have higher morals and standards and choose not to watch porn. When you find a man who chooses not to watch porn, especially after marriage, hold onto him!
