I have a big purse and everything fits, but it's just so annoying when everything jangles and it's heavy. Here's what I carry in my purse:

cell phone
cell phone charger (I do spur of the moment sleepovers etc)
iPod
tiny camera
eyeliner & a few lipglosses
pads
pen
compact mirror
tiny tube of lotion
gum
ibuprofen
a bottle of water
body spray
hand sanitizer
tissues
lighter
daily planner
comb
wallet

I feel like I need all of that stuff, but I don't want to carry ALL of it! which items should I eliminate?

i dont think that u should eliminate any of those items from ur bag. all are god choices to have. but u may want to organize.

put ur eyeliner and a few lip gloses, pads, compact, lotion, body spray, ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, lighter, and ur comb in a small makeup bag...

get a cell phone holder for ur phone, and put ur charger, i pod, camera, and pen in a pocket in ur purse...

ur water, wallet and daily planner can be placed in ur purse anywhere u want.

u c, all u have to do is organize!!

gosh i thought i was the only who have many things in my bag but you have way too many items in your purse. I'm surprised your purse can fit all of the items you listed.
well i have some suggestions here for you. Some are what I myself actually do,

First of all you can eliminate your tiny camera if your current cellphone has an integrated camera. Why add on to the unnecessary bulk and weight if you have a cellphone with a camera function?

Next you can eliminate the hand sanitizer. Replace it with a sanitized wet tissue ; to clean your hands at the same time killing any bacteria. You may purchase them any pharmacies.

Substitute your cellphone charger with an additional cellphone battery if you have one. You may want to purchase one or two additional batteries just in case. Have all the batteries fully charged before you leave for any places.

If your daily planner is big and takes up so much space, try getting yourself a pocket size daily planner or just a simple notepad. Or you can also record appointments first using your cellphone's calender or tasks functions. You can even set alarms on your appointments. I do that too. And when I'm home I record downon my daily planner book.

You may want to get a compact mirror which has a comb in it. So instead of carrying a separate comb and mirror, you just have to carry a 2-in-1 compact. Pack all of your make-up items and hair accessories in a small to medium carry-it-all-makeup-bag.

Transfer your body spray into a tiny spritz bottle. In fact transfer whatever creams or cleansers into those small bottles and pots. It saves space. Pack them in a small zip-lock kinda plastic bag.

Well I hope my suggestions help . =)

well the only real important things l carry around in my purse is a wallet with all my i.d. and a little change purse. some perfume a pad and an address book. a pen my eye glasses. but the cell or the ipod and your tiny camera and your cell phone charger leave out. this is to much clutter for one purse...

Go through EVERYTHING in your purse on, say, Monday, and put a sticker on it.
When you USE the item, take the sticker off. On the FOLLOWING Monday (or whatever day you choose), take everything out of your purse and if there is a sticker on it..........toss it. That way you are only keeping the things that you look at at least once a week.
No one can tell you what to eliminate except for you, based on what you really USE as opposed to what you think "you might need someday".

Good grief, that's not a purse, it's a suitcase. Do you own a car, some of this stuff could be left in your glove box, ie cell phone charger, tiny camera, ibuprofen, body spray, pads (you only need 1 small one) and even your daily planner. A bottle of water is good but have it on the passenger seat next to you instead of in your purse. That is likely the heaviest item of them all.

My first thought was to keep the charger in your car, unless your sleepovers are so spontaneous that you're away from your car.

If you have the money, you could get a combo phone/ MP3 player/ camera/planner.

Otherwise, I'd recommend using small bags to organize the small stuff; even a zip lock bag would be helpful.

Get rid of the pads (you don't neen those all the time) and the camera. Also, the water- I mean it probably gets warm and nasty anyway, you should get a fresh one and dispose of the old one.

eyeliner & lipglosses (keep 1 )
pads (keep 1 or get tampon)
charger (car)
mirror
lotion
pills
water
body spray
lighter
comb
keep everything else in the car or at home.
if you don't live on your daily planner keep that in the car or at home, too.

keep:
1 lipgloss (colored)
cell phone
ipod
camera
1 pad or tampon
pen
gum
hand sanitizer
tissues
wallet
get a smaller purse. if the lotion fits you can keep it.
