I find this to be true especially of the American yahoo questions section. Many people use this place as a means to rant and rave and vent their personal gripes? Many are in need of a visit to the psychologist's office?

Never once have I said I that I dislike anyone. Also, I am not singling out the Americans. I used the american yahoo thread for an example. But I was talking about EVERYONE.

when i said personal gripes, I mean people that come on here, not really for the purpose of asking a question, but as a means to spew their agression towards others. And I brought up the american forum because it is an obvious example. Never have I seen more instances of "questions" that display bigotry and hatred than on there. Come on, you know it's true. You hardly come across that rubbish on the U.K question panel.

I agree. This is an equal oportunity forum so it's going to be a sounding board for many people.
I really don't object though. They are human and they deserve to get feed back just like everyone else.
Like you, I too have seen many in need of some serious therapy but when they tell us their story, they get a lot of feedback from people who tell them that they should seek some help or they're told that they are weird or sick. That hopefully gives them a clue.
Because they make Answers so colorful, I can't complain in all good judgement.
It is sad but atleast it can be entertaining sometimes.

No. Someone who doesn't have personal issues sooner or later is someone who is dead. Some of us are passionate, some of us are laid back, sometimes we have a bad day, sometimes somebody crapped on our head and made us mad, sometimes we just want to post a fictitious issue to see what we can stir up. In the USA, there are thousands of Y!A posters, so there's a lot of stuff that comes up. Sooner or later, a lot of us could benefit from a visit to the psychologist's office, but can't afford it. So we throw our issue out here and end up getting a mixed bag of answers, but they usually bring us back to reality. And I guess you have a perfect life or you are a psychologist.

First, who doesn't have personal issues? Second, I find it interesting that you single out the Americans for this particular observation. Third, this is nothing more than venting your personal gripes. Fourth, no, I don't agree.

Sure.. I can agree to that.. I not only have issues.. i have back issues and a subscription even.. as to a psycologist?? Oh great.. thats what we need some ***** with even more issues than we have (Why you think they got into the profession anyway.. never yet met one that didnt have more issues than me.. and believe me i have a few)
But of course you have no issues.. which makes you a psycho in this world at least LOL

Hmm, maybe you don't realize this, but you're venting your problems as we speak (type..), and your dislike of total strangers, who are just looking for advice, makes it seem like you're the one in need of a visit to a psychologist's office...

It looks like it is apparently true. You are here asking questions.
I only saw this because it was the next one that came up on the page.
Didn't your mom tell you it isn't right to judge people? Well unless you went to law school and became a Judge.
Find something to do... if you think that these people need help then please direct them in the right way.
and yes
GOD BLESS!

Yes. But so are lots of people that do not post on Yahoo. In my experience the mix is pretty consistent with society at large.

By posting this question do actually mean to suggest that you know people who don't have issues? If your answer is yes you're so full of bullocks that I can't even write anymore.

If you really think about it, don't you think EVERYONE really needs a visit to a psychologists office? No matter if they rant and rave on a website?

I would say some do have problems. Ive only met one person from here, and she wasnt all there. I had to block her from emailing me. I know that everyone here isnt like that, but I always meet the freaks, I guess.*
