why do some women have dark brown blood cloths, days before their menstruation?

The dark brown clots are old blood being sluffed off the uterine wall.
Hormones regulate this.

blood cloths or blood clots.
You shouldnt be having blood clots at all. Menstrural blood should not clot. It is not pure blood. Go to Dr.
