I just downloaded a dvd decoder and it's says that the TV out function is enabled and won't allow copyrighted material to be played until it is disabled. Please Help.

i guess i needed a dvd decoder because the dvd/rw drive i bought didn't come with one.

when i went into display and clicked on advanced it lists adapter types, would that be it? says VgaSave , non-plug and play drivers.

Go into display properties & choose "Advanced".
It is in there somewhere ... depending on the card you have.

Tell me what the card is & I may be able to be more specific.

* why did you need a third party DVD decoder ?

you should have a main program for your video card other than the settings in the desktop. most aftermarket video cards have a control program icon next to the clock. if you have one there, right click on it and see if there is a tab for tv or something..if not send your info to phill and let him help you out more..
