I would say Daigle by far, but he's not so young anymore. Seems just like yesterday he screwed over the Sens hahah.

4 names pop up for me.

The obvious one being Alex Daigle. Picked 1st overall by the senators, received a huge contract only to be outplayed by Alexei Yashin.

The next would be Edmonton's worst pick ever, #4 Jason Bonsignore. Poor performance, lack of drive, and outplayed by a player selected 2 picks later named Ryan Smyth.

Then there was the Washington Capitals pick of Alex Volchkov. Never having reached his potential as a #4 overall pick, he also had a poor attitude to go with his game. In one incident he walked out of a minor league game he was playing. The worst part was it was a playoff game!

Lastly, we can't forget Pavel Brendl. Drafted 4th overall by the Rangers, he just hasn't been able to translate his minor league hype into NHL stardom. He's currently in Europe now.

Going back a bit, but Chris Gratton was supposed to be a big deal.
( I don't get why teams keep signing him)

I think Zherdev will still be a good player..might take another year under Hitchcock.

that is were given to be Mario. that is not any longer to assert that different gamers are not dedicated or unswerving or fairly solid adult men, yet what Lemiuex did for the Penguins is, so some distance as i understand, unparalleled. See the submit-retirement area in the link decrease than. really, as a participant, he deferred a TON of earnings to stay in Pittsburgh. at the same time as the crew struggled to pay him (and others), he ought to've taken them to courtroom to get his money and in truth killed the franchise. quite, he worked a deal that grow to be tremendous for the crew (and highly solid for him too).

Martin Skoula, he was drafted 1st round by the Avs, his offensive talents had him billed as the Av's replacement for Ray Bourque.

Now he's making 1.6 million for the Wild and has no goals, 10A, in 56 games.

Alexandre Daigle-Here's a guy who was drafted ahead of Yashin, Pronger and Kariya but now plays for HC Davos.

Brendl's a good call. How about Jamie Lundmark, Krys Kolanos or my favorite, Manny Malhotra?

zherdev is pretty damn disappointing........daigle? the question is last few years dumbass....daigle was drafted well over 10 years ago. Raycroft has only had 1 bad year...so i dont know why you think he should be an answer.

Tyler Arnason of Colorado.
Chicago got rid of him because he had no heart. No performing on the road this year either (3 goals).
