I was at the gym the other day and these guys were making fun of this one guy for shaving his crotch. I didn't think it was a huge deal if he shaved down there or not. What do you think, is it a big deal or not?

it is not a big deal. If a guy is shaving his nuts...A) he is doing it for himself and not a pack of ignorant guys or B)his girlfriend likes it and he doesn't give an f what others think.
Shaving your satchel cuts down on odor...Bacteria clings to hair and gives a funky nut odor.

What the other guy does is his business and those guys should have known better to make fun of him. In a locker room environment some people will say anything but most generally mind their own business.

Hey man its not a big deal at all. Some could say maybe his lady friend at home doesn't like going down on him to get a mouth full of hair. Or he does it because his pubes get so long he zips them in his zipper :)

I think it should be personal preference. However, I play hockey and the guys would probably think I'm gay if i shaved my pubes. If your girlfriend / wife wanted you to shave then I'd say, "do it".

ok first of all why would they be looking down there on another guy??............and second of all it's a personal choice and it doesn't matter if you shave down there or not.......so no it's not a big deal if he does

Seems like the guys at the gym are kinda fruitty for looking at the guy's stuff. Last time I checked, I don't think the porno guys have hair.
