Help with lag spikes? I think the inooDB deadlocks are causing it, how do I fix it?

I am a programmer of a major online game and I'm frustrated that my game lags and wish to fix it as my players are getting uneasy, so if anyone knows anything about database management could you please help?

Just sounds like you need to kill some connections during that time too many users online

What database are you using? Mysql, access, oracle....?
