Hormonal changes that can trigger menstrual irregularities (yours doesn't sound irregular, but it sounds like there is a slight deviation from what is normal for you). These hormonal changes can be brought on by changes in stress levels, weight gain or loss, dietary changes, exercise changes, other medications, and lifestyle changes such as living with a different woman of childbearing age, moving, or changes in sleep schedules, etc. If you otherwise feel fine and healthy, it sounds like your cycle is just going through a change. If you notice lots of heavy bleeding, pain, fatigue, weight gain or loss, or just a feeling that something is wrong, see a medical practitioner.

I hope you dont mind answering but I think what causes the delay is yor abnormal period last month. There is a disruption to the normal cycle which definitely causes the delay but if there are other symptoms your experiencing better consult your physician. The disruption of your normal menstrual cycle can be attributed to a numerous causes. Contraceptives, sexual activity, medicines or drugs, disease, bacterial infection or cyst etc. Although theres no need to be alarm but it is good to be aware of your health if I may suggest to you to have a regular check up with your OB-Gyne to assure a good health.

Are you under alot of stress? That or weight gain or weight loss can all affect it. How about are you on any new medicines? If your sure your not preggo then maybe wait for the next month and if no change just call your doc see what they say. Good Luck!

Nerves can have alot to do with abnormal periods, i have a friend who somtimes dosent even get her period for a couple of months and it's not because she's pregnant. Stress can mess you up!

I don't know how old you are, but my period (length of bleeding and length between periods) changed a lot for the first several years. It could be that.

2 days is not a long period of time. if you see a long wait such as a few weeks then you should consult your doctor. nothing to worry about in my opinion. :)

First off, you didn't say how old you were?

Menopause?
Nerves
Stress
cysts on the ovaries. ...

Go see your gynecologist okay?
