Al Gore? He invented Global Warming and the Internet.

The significant things Al Gore did was try to take credit for what others did. First there was his wife, Tipper Gore making like a conservative, going to Congress about rock lyrics. Then there was claiming that he was the model for the character Oliver in "Love Story" because he knew the author while at Yale. Segal had to publicly state that he very much was not. Then Al Gore tried the Internet fiasco. He had NO significant (if any) laws enacted or military matters decided.

Your question seems a bit generic, and that's going to be a problem for you. In the U.S., thanks to the tradition established by George Washington (who really disliked John Adams), the U.S. Vice President does very little except cast tie breaking votes in the Senate and replace the dead President.Until then, he really sits around and shoots the breeze (or his friend, whichever.)

I think America's last elected President is a good man, hardworking, bright. He brought Love Canal to national attention, he helped make the civilian internet possible, his decades long focus on global warming has moved WORLD debate forward - including in china!

he is an intelligent person. he authored or spearheaded GPRA to improve the way the government works, and was untiring in educating people on the importance of ecology. Unfortunately he does not seem to have the stomach to go down to the level of his opponents...and so he lost.

He's going to run again and he's going to win.

He'll appeal to the environmental concerns of North America and finally it will be Gore's year.

As for the rest of it... wha?

I think he is still upset that he lost, he acts like that is the first thing he has lost at in his whole life.

I think he lost most of his credibility with his slam about the soldiers in Iraq.
