freebird is the general answer , does anyone think of the lessor ones, especially ballad of curtis lowe, that smell .etc, would like to hear from those who have lisented to more than freebird, such a talented group they sure did more than freebird , all repects to that song but it is worn out.

While freebird was the first song i learned to play, it is not my favorite, im having a hard time answering this question, as i sit here typing i cant really say what my fav. is. I like different songs for different reasons, like needle & the spoon recalls a very dark period in my life, "all i can do" makes me feel reflective, every mothers son is a beautiful song about coming of age. i guess to answer the question id have to say i like them all because they bring out a different feeling with each song.

Kind of moved on from Skynyrd oh about 30 years ago...lol...If I have to hear FReeBird one more time I would probably puke. A lot of their other stuff is classic drinking music.

What would any true Skynard fan say? Free Bird! Brings back a lot of memories about skiing, friends and good times.

"The Needle & The Spoon" off "Second Helping" Driving riff and soaring guitars, like a lot of other songs I nearly chose instead, and a serious message in the words.

That Smell is my favorite, it has great lyrics and really rocksa. It came out right after the plane crash which was sort of profetic for the song.

Probably "Coming Home". It reminds me of my dad....he use to listen to that song a lot. The lyrics really represent his life and mine.
Oh, and I don't mean to sound rude by correcting you...but it is Lynyrd Skynyrd.
