hi im a male in ny and i have free time and i want to job helpng animals thats really all i care about whas something that pays well dont care really but would be nice. no pet stores i guess maybe at a zoo or a shealter maybe soome one can help me or what should i do.

You could see if you could get a job at a local vet clinic.

I doubt many shelters are actually going to hire someone, especially someone under 18. Volunteer, yes but hire doubtful. You could probably get a job at a zoo but i doubt youd physically be working with animals, as most jobs like that you need some type of degree or schooling. Maybe try a groomers, you wont be able to groom but you may be able to become a brusher and washer. OTher than that, I cant see anyone hiring due to age and education (no offense, its just the truth most places) but it doesnt mean you shouldnt try either. Good luck

Go to a career adviser place and get information. They could tell you what course you need to do to have a job working with animals. Try voleentry or work experices at shealthers, zoo,
horse or pony riding place.
Try dog kennels.

I would try a vet clinic. That would probably be your best bet. Working at a shelter is hard work, and it can be emotional as well.

Zoo jobs can be hard to come by, but many zoos have great volunteer programs.
