He also stares at nothing...like there is something there. But my main concern is that i think he's a vampire. He has really sharp fangs and he tries to bite my neck. He also doesnt watch tv but when a vampire movie comes on he watches it... is my cat a vampire? Please help me I dont know what to do.

No, Dearest, you're not crazy, and your Child of Bast is NOT a vampire. Trust me. I've been Mom to many Cats. They do, however, protect from vampires.
1) your cat is an outside cat brought inside. He's not used to being picked up, so he's going to bite and/or claw you and your neck is an easy place to get at so.... easy target.
2) Cats see very well in the dark and humans don't. he's probably giggling at you while you stumble about
3) My cats stare at nothing. There's either something I can't see there (and am not meant to see) or there's something very small I'm unable to see. Sometimes cats run Things out of their Mom's houses that don't belong there.
4) All cats have sharp fangs and claws. They're predators. The fact he likes vampire movies might just be a credit to the cat. In his past life he might have been a horror film buff.
Trust me, he's not a vampire. He's a child of Bast and more likely to protect you from vampires than ever to be one. Vampires don't like cats anyways. Cats "see" what's really there. Don't worry, Dearest. Pet him for me.

All cats have the attributes you've mentioned.

Cats can see very well at night. A cat will stare at what can be perceived as nothing, well in fact, they may see a string in the air or something small which you cannot see. All cats have sharp fangs and sharp claws. Since your cat was an "alley cat", when you pick him up, he may not be used to it, so he tries to bite you. Cats (large & small) go for the neck, in which to kill their prey, and no your cat is not trying to kill you. He's just going on instinct.

Alot of cats will stop and watch TV for a bit. Something catches their eye and they will watch. I'm sure that it's just a coincidence that you've never noticed that your cat will stop and watch something other than a vampire movie. Something else that you didn't mention is that most cats are awake at night and like to roam around the house. Cats tend to sleep in the daylight. This is normal as well.

If you are still convinced that your cat is a vampire -

(a) hold your cat up to the mirror. Your cat will give a reflection proving that he is not a vampire.

and....

(b) hold a cross up to your cat. Trust me, your cat will not even be fazzed by it.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

No - your cat is a cat, not a vampire. Cats can see very well in the dark - which is why he knows where you are.

Cats also have sharp fangs - they are predators after all (and not predator in the ikky alien sense either). As for biting your neck - you don't say what you are doing when it tries that.

Remember - he was a stray in a back alley. He still probably has to become used to being a "pet" again.

You can't really judge a cat by the same stick you would use to judge any other pet - they really are a breed of their own.

But your cat is definitely not a vampire. I promise you.

I had the same problem with a dog, once. He would stare at the walls like he was in a trance, or like he was seeing things no one else could see! I just knew that he was a vampire. When I would take a bath, he would come in and stare at the bathtub, mesmerized. I was convinced that he was a vampire, and I would not allow him to sleep in my room at night unless I wore garlic around my neck, and a cross for good measure.

Even though I could see him in a mirror, he couldn't seem to see himself in the mirror -- he was totally uninterested in his own reflection! I just knew he was a vampire.

The creepiest part was the way he stared at the walls and the floors, as if gazing into the great beyond, or communicating with other vampire dogs in the neighborhood.

One morning, I was awakened by a strange scratching noise coming from within the wall, near the floor where my bathtub sat. I just knew it was another vampire dog digging itself out of the grave!! This continued for some weeks, until I invited over my pastor to perform an exorcism on my house and on my vampire dog. He simply crawled under the house with a cage. He returned the next day and retreived the cage, which now contained an oppossum!

I sure was relieved. My dog wasn't a vampire after all, he just heard the oppossum in the walls, and especially under my bathtub.

However, I do know that some of my cows are vampires. They disappear at night....

No, your cat is not a vampire. You are not a vampire. Vampires do not exist, they are a myth. Your cat is a cat. He knows where you are in pitch black because cats can see better in darkness than humans. All cats have sharp fangs and try to bite you now and then. You're being paranoid.

Is there something supernatural about your cat? -No.

Your cat can see in much lower light than you or I can - what you or I would consider pitch-black.

Your cat is a carnivore, not a vampire.

As for the teeth, all cat teeth are exceptionally sharp, they will dull, slightly, as the cat ages. The reason behind his facination with your neck is beyond my ken...you may have to speak with a pet psychologist. In any case, try painting the "vulnerable" area of your neck with something that the cat doesn't like.

Am I the only individual who's usual with of this one? high quality, here is the actual fantasy that bargains with cats and vampires: Legend says that if a cat jumps over (no longer walks around) a ineffective persons grave, then the ineffective guy will become a vampire. it is so simple as that.

Your cat is not a vampire. Cats do have way better sences then us humans do. Have you ever been visited by ghost? Although you may not be a receptor to a spirital ghost? most animals in general can sence there presence. Thats why they stare at nothing. Try takeing a picure the next time you see your cat stareing at "nothing". If there are orbs in the picture, there are spirits present. Look up orbs online if you are not familiar with them. Its pretty interesting stuff. Make sure you take the photo in the direction hes looking. Let me know how it turns out.

cats can see in the dark. cats look at nothing most of the time, most cats have sharp teeth, and if your cat is biting you on the neck may be you should feed it more. i don't think cats pay much attention to TV. i really don't think your cat is a vampire. but just in case it is maybe you should put a stake in its heart and see what happens

I had the same problem as transdisc. But instead it was my cows. They would disapear at night but then I would go outside and hear a strange flapping noise. One night I stayed outside and watched them. They grew wings and flew into the sky! I jumped in my car to go to the police, but the cows started attacking me. The flew over the car and dropped turds on my windshield. I jumped out the car and shot those SOBs. They flew away. The day after I slaughtered all my cows and sent them to be made into beef. I never heard of them again. But now my pigs and goats are doing the same thing.
