First of all if you have the money buy a SAT prep. book. If you need something cheaper your high school should have something for you to check out or the local library.
Second, there are websites online that help you increase your vocab. Some of them are kinda fun. Vocab. is a big section of the SAT.
www.vocabtest.com
www.satvocab.com
Third, to improve your writing scores go to websites that pose writing questions. It'll give you an idea on what to write and you can even practice writing them out if that'll help.
http://www.west.net/~stewart/grewa/ (go to bottom where it says download questions, this is for college type SAT but still should help)
Here are some helpful websites:

What really helped me was buying ACT and SAT study books. for the SAT i used the official collegeboard book and for the ACT i used Princeton Review - a fabulous book!! It goes through every topic on the ACT and explains the best way to solve a problem or to understand information. A big thing thats really important is to take timed practice tests. The more times you take either of the tests, the better you do. So taking multiple practice tests gives you a head start, giving you experience on how to pace yourself properly and familiarizing you with the material. As a bonus, on the ACT website there are practice questions of each section. They don't give you a time limit, but they are good practice anyways. I would start studying as soon as you can for the tests, it'll be hard to really focus until closer to your test date, but 20 minutes or so a day the month before your test dates should be helpful, then the week or 2 before really step it up and take at least one practice section of a test a day. Remember, when you take the tests, relax!!! You'll remember everything you've studied so much better and even if you don't do as well as you hoped you can always taken it again.. and again! I'd plan on taking either test twice no matter how you score the first time.

if you can afford it - take a test prep class-they give you practice tests under the actual SAT Environment
If you cannot do that..then buy some SAT Prep books or borrow them from teh library..
put yourself in the room with no disturbances..time yourself accordingly and do the stimulation test.
then check your answers and don't get bummed out by your score..instead use it to evaluate ALL your answers even the ones you got right just incase if they happened to be a guess..and your weaknesses...once you find your weaknesses...then you will be able to improve your score....

LOok at practice books. Princton review or 7 real SAT exams are good practices books. you can't study for the content on the test but become aware of the format and learn the test taking tips. Good luck.

I suggest studying math. We aren't allowed to reveal the questions for some reason, but I will say where I got low grades on was Pi. At the time I took the test, my school hadn't tought me about the 3.14 rule of pi. Study Pi, and anything you find hard in school, and you should be fine. I hope this helps!
