I am the thinnest I have ever been in my whole life. I recently lost about 30 pounds and I should feel amazing, but every time I look in the mirror I still see myself 30, maybe even 50 pounds heavier. I have never ever had any self confidence, and I am completely sick of it. I should love myself but I can't because I have spent 21 years hating myself and the way I look. How do I feel comfortable in my own skin?

Sweet Lady,
Life is far tooo short to be hung up on such a small matter. Yu are who you are, and you are beautiful the way you are. Its those people in hollywood that are not so attractive. Superficiality is hiding the hideous.

Gorgeous,
Beauty is not perfection, beauty is flaws that help something become special, unique, and beauty is in the inside. I am sure you are beautiful because you accept your flaws, and that flaw is not weight but the fact that you can't love yourself. The truth is, there might be nothing wrong with your body, you physically might be everyone's goal but you don't notice because your lach of self-confidence does not get smaller when you lose those 30 pounds. To heal the inside, you need to treat the inside. Think of all the positive things you do and that you are, but be honest to yourself, then think of your flaws, don't put those aside, you learn from your flaws and you become a better person through them so cherish them, don't regret them. Everything about you is you and you are like nobody else because everybody is unique, and like I said before, being unique is beautiful. Hopefully you feel comfortable in your own skin very soon. =)

Its normal to feel self conscious about the way you look. It's also amazing that you lost 30lbs. Accepting your self doesn't happen right away it usually takes time. A lot of our "self-conscious" baggage maybe from past experience, ie kids picked on you while you were young. In order to to accept yourself you should stop comparing yourself to what the media has declared "beautiful." There are certain things we cannot help because its programmed into our DNA. So being a Endomorph you might find it hard to change because of your DNA. You have to think of your self as being your own person, say to your self "I am the best because i am the only one like me. There is no one else like me."
My best advice to you is to exercise more, it usually gets me in a good mood. Believe it or not exercise releases endorphans in your body that will make you feel better as a person. Set some goals while you exercise as well, this will make you feel like you are achieving something and will help you become more confident. Exercising will also help you blow off your frustrated feels about life.

Now, are you already underweight for your height, body type, and frame size? Even if you aren't, but you continue to have these types of thoughts, you may be experiencing Body dysmorphic disorder and should probably seek professional help to understand your feelings and to put yourself in control of your body image.
Also, it could be the way some cultures and societies place such a high importance upon outward appearance, celebrating and praising people who are too thin and unhealthy.

You have to come to terms with the fact that there is no such thing as perfection. Your body is your temple, as cliche as that may sound, but it is true.
If you spend your entire life thinking of what you could look like instead of accepting that you are beautiful the way you are, then you will always find errors with your physical features. Your problem isnt your outside, you have to work on your inside.

Every day, stand in front of your mirror and find SOMETHING you like about your body; say it out loud. It may be nice hair, nice skin, the color of your eyes, or anything else about your physical self. It sounds odd, but it helps!

First of all you should look inside of yourself , and see that there are more important and beautiful things inside of a human being than outside , and second you should be more secure of yourself have more confidence and acknowledge that there are millions of kids dying of hunger and people with not a single piece of bread to eat , in other words there are people living in a worst situation than we all are . so lets give thanks and praises to the Lord !!
