Anyone else ever get tired of people asking the same question....Girl, you ready to have that baby?....or how about....OMG, you're about to pop!

What's up with that? Can't anyone say something nice like....You are looking really well.

When I get a stupid comment like the ones mentioned, I just get really sarcastic and say, "Noooo... I wanna be pregnant like this for the rest of my life....DUH!

When I was pregnant for my first pregnancy, it was the dumbest things people would try to fill my head with....Don't drink orange juice. Your baby will hate it. Well, my daughter loves orange juice. Now that I'm pregnant for a second time, it's just dumb comments.

Anyone share this same feeling?

Maybe pregnancy adds a huge sign on my forehead saying, "I'm dumb. I welcome all stupid comments."

Some of the most stupid and dumb comments come from women who have had children before. I don't get it. Are they being sarcastic?

Absolutely...I have in-laws that believe every old wives tale about pregnancy. Both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law nearly had a heart attack when they saw me reach over my head to get a box of cereal down out of the cabinet. They told me I would strangle the baby with his umbilical cord if I did that. So, being the smart-*** that I am, I did it as often as I could in front of them. Needless to say, my son didn't have the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck when he was born. That was one of many annoying and ignorant things that they would say. And it's only gotten worse this go-around...so yeah, I share the same feeling.

At Christmas dinner, my sister-in-law (who has no kids), said that if the baby moves I should tell her so everyone can feel it. Merry Christmas, here's 16 pairs of greasy hands on your belly. Um, no. She's also asked me how I knew I was pregnant (did someone miss sex ed?) and how I told my husband. I've heard other dumb comments (like the person who said I probably don't like being touched WHILE her hand was on my belly), but they all pale in comparison to the Christmas dinner thing. I didn't even know what to say to her, I just try really hard not to let her know when the baby is moving.

I'm getting pretty tired of unsolicited advice too. Like people think you're a complete idiot. The best advice is the statements that begin with "Well, of course you'll...." No, I won't. I'll raise my kid the way I want to, now leave me alone.

Sorry, I just get really frustrated. Being pregnant really does make you the target of some dumb, insensitive comments.

Oy My friend just had a baby and I could see how annoyed she was by all the dumb comments! I'm only 6 weeks so I guess I have alot of annoyances ahead of me and with these mood swings its going to take alot to keep myself under control lol whenever something makes me upset or whatever I just think about how great its going to be when the baby is here! Congrats on the pregnancy! & take it easy!

Yes. People would even stop me in the isle at walmart making remarks. "Your huge, are you having twins" or "wow I hope I don't get that big when I'm pregnant" I would politely say...yes I am having twins and yes I am ready to pop. Sometimes I got nasty...but you know, whatever makes you feel better.

Same with the lady above, my first son has blond curly hair. He was wearing a batman outfit and someone at the post office said "what a pretty little girl with curly hair"...I was like BATMAN-BOY-GET IT?

agree. And what about when the baby is born and they ask things like "is he/she a GOOD baby?" like as if you'll say no! Also I once had my son in a navy blue Bob The4 Builder shirt, Black shorts, Blue pacifier and a lady said hello princess to him because he had blond ringlets!!!
