there's a way to list items successfully. for one, you must post a pic...people wanna know what they're buying. also, you need to describe it as thoroughly as possibly. be specific and precise, and leave it on for about 1 week. most importantly of all, don't overprice it! if you set a used laptop at $500, chances are, no one is going to buy it. you should set it at like $100 or below...cuz once people start bidding, the price will go up, if many people are interested in it. good luck!

Usually not since most items on ebay don't sell. You could end up losing money. To increase your chance of getting a bid start the bid at an affordable price and reasonable price. Don't put a reserve since it will scare away bidders and cost extra. Only charge exact shipping. Never overcharge for shipping. Customers hate sellers who over charge for items. If selling DVDs for example never charge more than $2 for shipping unless it cost $1 more to buy the envelope. You could also try amazon.

i don't trust ebay because of what i've heard from t.v. and one of my relatives. use amazon, it's safer, and more reliable. good luck!
