I haven't seen it, but just read the book recently. I did a little research on Thomas Harris after I found the book and saw previews for the film. Was curious if it was the most recent book written, and it was.
I'm a huge fan of Hannibal's character and can't wait to see the movie. If its anything like the book though, the author left a huge gap between that ending and the beginning of Maneater/Red Dragon... actually, Hannibal was left open for a sequel too.
Maybe Thomas Harris will write another book, which will certainly become a movie.
Did you know Thomas Harris also wrote the screenplay for Hannibal Rising?

No. I liked it too. In fact it shows a HUMAN side to Hannibal Lecter. Which explains why he is such a Monster in the latter films.

I haven't seen it, but I'm very excited to see it. I loved "Red Dragon" and "Silence of the Lambs" (both the books and the movies. The original "Red Dragon" movie-"Manhunter" was excellent, too.) I HATED "Hannibal", though. (Both the book and the movie.)

yes because it wasn't a great movie. I was bored most of the time. I didn't feel it answered all of my questions. why did he continue to kill he killed the men responsible for mishca's death. well your not sick unless you want to eat people now but the movie sucked.

No, it looks pretty cool. I liked the last movie too when he opened up the guys head while he was awake.

I just saw that movie and i also liked it. I like all of that series of movies and books though.
